Oro Gold’s strategy for success is one based on building a company rather than simply advancing a particular property. To that end we feel that a strong generative program is key to success.

Oro Gold believes that a strong generative program begins with a pipeline of quality properties that will provide a steady stream of new prospects for the company to explore or joint venture. If Oro Gold can identify and acquire at a low cost, its own high quality early to mid-stage properties, it will be that much better leveraged to benefit from a significant discovery.

A fundamental component of our strategy is to advance the majority of our properties using the financial resources of joint venture partners. We see this as an effective way to keep costs low while maintaining a vested interest in many promising projects. In pursuit of this, a large portion of management’s time is spent identifying and evaluating early to mid-stage properties and conducting due diligence on those which show the most potential.

Our areas of interest include Mexico and Central America. These two areas have a rich mining history, established infrastructure and climate conducive to year-round exploration, which makes the chance of discovering an economic deposit much greater.

As of late, significant discoveries within this belt have been made at or near historical mines. Oro Gold recognizes the importance of pursuing opportunities in such areas. The company has acquired properties and will continue to generate others that are situated in dormant multi-million ounce gold-rich mine camps that have been untested by modern exploration.

Mexico has long been known a country rich in silver rather than gold. We believe that the gold potential has not been fully recognized, and therefore will continue to identify and acquire properties with gold-rich targets that have not been adequately explored. We consider large parts of the defined belt to be under-explored for gold, and are currently focusing on additional new acquisitions in select areas.
